Laila Lalami (moorishgirl) announced today that her short story collection The Things That Death Will Buy has been sold to Algonquin Books (a two book deal no less!). She is a lovely, delightful and talented human being and I am thrilled for her. Also, I can’t wait to read this book when it is released in Spring 2006.
